Three weeks ago, we rescued a little puppy named Laki who was found in critical condition on the side of a road in Sevilla. We immediately brought him to our animal hospital where he received urgent treatment. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with four terrible diseases including liquiosis, anaplasmosis, leishmaniasis, and filariasis (also known as heartworm disease). Despite this devastating news, Laki has made remarkable progress since arriving at our hospital.

Today, I bring you an update on Laki’s condition. He is doing much better and has become quite the charmer. As you can see in the video, he’s a happy, playful puppy who loves to snuggle and give kisses. However, his recovery has not been easy, and there are many more animals like him who are in desperate need of our help.

My name is Victor Larkel, and I am the founder of Spain Animal Rescue, an organization dedicated to rescuing animals in extreme situations. Our videos of animal rescues and rehabilitation have gained widespread attention on social media platforms like YouTube and Facebook. We strive to show the world the reality of animal rescue and to inspire others to help in any way they can.

Sadly, our organization, like many others, is struggling to stay afloat during this global crisis. This past year has been particularly difficult, with the pandemic and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine affecting economies across Europe. As a result, many families have been forced to cut back on donations, leaving us in a precarious position.

Despite these challenges, we remain committed to our mission. Animals like Laki rely on us for their survival, and we cannot turn our backs on them. We continue to rescue animals in dire situations, providing them with the necessary medical care and rehabilitation they need to recover. Our two refuges, Casa Grande and Casa Rosa, provide a safe haven for animals that cannot be adopted, ensuring that they receive the love and care they deserve for the rest of their lives.

Our organization is doing important work, and the response from our supporters has been overwhelming. However, we still need your help. We understand that many of you are struggling yourselves, but we urge you to donate whatever you can to help us continue to save lives.

Every little bit helps, and together, we can make a difference. Please don’t forget about us, and please don’t forget about the animals who depend on us. Thank you for your support.
